Aunt Vi Calls on McCall to Help Her Friend on the Next 'The Equalizer'

Aunt Vi suspects her friend is a victim of domestic abuse.

There's only a handful of episodes left in Season 3 of The Equalizer! In the next episode, "No Way Out," Aunt Vi (Lorraine Toussaint) enlists the help of Robyn (Queen Latifah) and the team when she realizes her longtime masseuse and friend is a victim of domestic abuse.

Later, McCall trains Dee (Laya DeLeon Hayes) on situational awareness. Dante (Tory Kittles) goes against orders by chasing after the man who shot his friend Manny (Malik Yoba).

Sadly, domestic abuse affects many regardless of gender, race, or socioeconomic background. About 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will suffer some sort of physical abuse from an intimate partner.

If you or someone you know is dealing with abuse, there is help available. Visit the National Domestic Violence Hotline at www.thehotline.org or call 800-799-SAFE (7233).
