Welcome to August, Cancer. Last month you reconnected with folks from your past you've lost touch with. You tend to be nostalgic, and while there was time for that in July, it's now time to face forward. There's a full moon in revolutionary Aquarius on Monday, August 3. You're often called the homebody of the zodiac and can lead a solitary life at times. However, this doesn't mean you don't care about your community. You are willing to fight for what you believe in, whether it's fighting systemic racism or stepping back for self-care after a lifetime of dealing with it yourself. Whether you're making calls, sending emails, or putting your own wellbeing first, the pull of the full moon is a perfect environment for revolutionary acts.

The summer of 2020 is a time when many, including you, are reconsidering what's important to us. Our professional and personal lives are forever changed. Uranus, the oddball of the zodiac, goes retrograde from Saturday, August 15, to Friday, January 1 of next year. This retrograde presents an opportunity. Times are tough. There's a pandemic going on. But many folks are also banding together to call out police brutality and systemic racism. While Uranus is retrograde, lean into the changes in the world to find your role and to vocalize your needs. A new schedule and rhythm of living will develop. 

You don't have to figure out your future alone. 

Cancers like to find efficient ways of doing things, so if you're organizing for a cause you care about, finding a safe way to finally go on some dates, or wrapping up a creative project, use the new moon in brave Leo on Tuesday, August 18 to set intentions. The good news is that you don't have to figure out your future alone. It's understandable to feel powerless these days, but it's important to remember that people care about you and have your back. 

For most of the summer, your focus has been on taking care of other people in your community. When loyal and practical Virgo season begins on Saturday, August 22, remember that you deserve romantic partnership, even during difficult political times. It's OK to start dating and looking for new connections or to rekindle a promising fling that was thrown off course by COVID-19.
