Hello, and good afternoon! In case you didn't know, Shakira and Lewis Hamilton are in the early stages of dating, according to multiple outlets. (I'll give you a moment for any subsequent screaming, crying, throwing up, etc. upon hearing the news 😭.)

After a series of public outings (which we'll recap below), a source close to the couple dished all the 🍵 to People, saying, "They're spending time together and in the 'getting to know you' stage...It's fun and flirty." In-ter-est-ing!

A refresher: The relationship news comes after the A-list singer attended the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, Spain, where Lewis came in second place. Post-race, the two were spotted going out for dinner and drinks with a group of friends that included celebs Daniel Caesar, Fai Khadra, and Mustafa, who took to Insta to share a moment from the night on his IG story.

Last month, Shakira was also spotted out and about on a boat with Lewis and other friends in Miami after attending the 2023 Grand Prix. The race car driver was reportedly joined by fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, and together they went to pick the singer up outside of her $20 million waterfront mansion. So 😭 happy 😭 for 😭 her 😭.

According to Page Six, the rumored new couple is believed to have also hung out the night prior at Cipriani’s Downtown Miami location. Ahem, witness:

During the trip, Shakira took a break from the car races/whatever else goes on at F1 to be recognized as Billboard’s Woman of the Year at the Latin Women in Music Gala, where she gave a powerful speech.

"This has been a year of seismic change in my life where I’ve felt more than ever and very personally what it is to be women. And what it means," she said to the crowd. "It’s been a year where I’ve realized we women are stronger than we think, braver than we believed, more independent than we were taught to be. Because what woman hasn’t, at some time in her life, forgotten herself because she’s seeking the attention and love of someone else?"

Shakira continued, "But there comes a time in the life of every woman where she no longer depends on someone else to love and accept herself just as she is. A time when the search for someone else is replaced by the search for oneself. A time when the desire to be perfect is replaced by the desire to be authentic and where finding someone who is faithful is less important than being faithful to ourselves."
