The summer is a great time to snag deals. With so many holidays, sales abound. But an upcoming sale may put all others to shame: Target just announced “Deal Days” to compete with Amazon’s Prime Days, and no membership is required!

The Deal Days will be held on July 15 and 16, the same two days as Amazon’s famous sale. According to a press release, items from national brands and Target-exclusive brands (like hello Opalhouse, Made By Design and Threshold) will be included, and guests can retrieve their items same-day. In-store pickup is available, and Shipt can (and will) deliver purchases to your door within a few hours.

Target Is Selling Cheap Sangria Just In Time for Summer

“Last year’s Target.com One-Day Sale was one of our biggest days of the year for online sales,” Mark Tritton, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer at Target, said in the release. “This year, we’re giving guests more discounts across even more of our assortment with two days to save on hundreds of thousands of items and offering the best options in retail for delivery and pick up on their terms, including same-day.”

But the good news doesn’t end there. If you use your REDcard, you will get an additional 5 percent off your purchase(s). You will also be able to access exclusive deals.

As for what may or may not be included in the sale, details are vague. However, Target has vowed to include rarely-on-sale items; exclusive home, apparel and toy brands; and discounts on hundreds of thousands of products in their “biggest sale of the summer.” So get ready, savvy shoppers; July is going to be a hot month for discounts, deals and steals.
