Attention artists: Pianos About Town wants you to paint its 2024 pianos

Any artists out there looking for a blank canvas?

Pianos About Town, a public art project that commissions the painting of donated pianos before placing them around Fort Collins to encourage spontaneous playing, is looking for its next crop of local artists.

Interested artists are invited to tune into a pair of virtual information sessions on Jan. 31 and Feb. 14. The first runs potential applicants through the program and its application process. The second session consists of one-on-one meetings where Pianos About Town staff review potential artist applications and answer questions. Session attendance is not required to apply for Pianos About Town.
