The Attack on Titan finale was so highly anticipated by fans that Crunchyroll’s servers crashed moments before it was due to air.

The servers went down just before the final episode was due to stream at 5pm PT on November 5, leaving many fans frustrated and unable to watch.

The online outage is a repeat of the same problems in 2022, when the Attack on Titan: The Final Season - Part 2 crashed the Crunchyroll servers.

Although the final episode of Attack on Titan has aired, Crunchyroll is celebrating from now until November 8 with an event taking place on a weird virtual cruise ship.

The Worldwide After Party includes a special talk show with the director of the first three anime seasons, Tetsuro Araki, as well as composer Hiroyuki Sawano, final season director Yuichiro Hayashi, and Kodansha editor Shintaro Kawakubo.

There will also be a talk with multiple cast members from Attack on Titan, including the voices of Eren Jaeger, Mikasa Ackerman, and Annie Leonhart.

Crunchyroll’s anime streaming service is available in over 200 countries and territories including the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, North Africa and Latin America. It’s so popular we’ve put together this essential list of the best anime to stream on Crunchyroll.
