Athletes’ Go-to Jeweler MJ Jones Launches Accessible Line at Harvey Nichols

MJ Jones, a Manchester- and London-based jeweler who has worked on bespoke pieces for some of the most prominent athletes today — including Lionel Messi, Marcus Rashford and Lamar Jackson — on Friday debuted the brand’s accessible fashion jewelry range Essentials with a pop-up on the men’s floor of Harvey Nichols Manchester.

Matthew J. Jones, founder of his namesake label MJ Jones, said the brand’s first location in Manchester was designed to “encapsulate the bold, empowering aesthetic of the capsule. Each product sits upon a black monolith built up from the MJ Jones monogram, a signature feature of all collections that represents success.”

Knocking off one or two zeros from the brand’s usual price point, the Essentials line includes platinum-finished Cuban bracelets, chains and rings in black, silver and a mixed black and silver armored steel.

“We’re excited to work with Harvey Nichols and introduce new clients to the brand through a physical space in a key region for us, as well as giving new customers and longtime fans of the brand a chance to experience MJ Jones and our fine jewelry that is inspired by winners and worn by champions,” he added.

A prime example of his fine jewelry offering is the DNA ring, which boasts more than 200 hand-set diamonds with prices starting at 12,500 pounds.

Jones’ jewelry offering is built upon MJJ Exclusive, a watches and jewelry concierge service he launched in 2012, which granted him access and insights into some of the most exclusive ultra-high-net-worth clients, many of whom are high-paying athletes.
