Athletes Bike And Ski 4,000 Foot Sand Dune In Breathtaking Video

Professional mountain biker Kilian Bron and big mountain skier Victor Broquedis traveled to Peru to ski and ride one of the world's tallest sand dunes- Cerro Blanco.

The dune stands a whopping 3,860 feet above the desert floor. Watch as Bron and Broquedis ride the entire thing in the breathtaking video below:

Caption: "GoPro Athlete Kilian Bron is never short on creative MTB ideas. On his most recent trip, traveling to South America, he stopped in Peru to meet up with big-mountain snow skier Victor Broquedis who ditched the powder for fresh desert corduroy.

The duo went hiking + summited Cerro Blanco, a world-record holding 3,860 foot tall dune, before commencing the most unique downhill mountain bike + ski runs of their lives. POVs provided by GoPro MAX."

Simply incredible.

I've seen videos of people dune skiing before, but it never looked like this much fun. I mean, can you imagine how amazing it must feel to ride a nearly 4,000 foot vertical sand dune from top to bottom?!

Sure, you don't go nearly as fast as you would on snow, but who cares?!

Anybody have a contact in Peru? I need to try this out.
