This aspiring comedian got famous by making people laugh in six seconds
Jay Versace was the funniest person on Vine. With his one-man skits and impressions, he went viral time and time again. When Vine closed up shop, Versace was not about to let that stand in the way of his comedy dreams. At 20, the kid from Pleasantville, N.J., who became famous by making funny videos in his childhood bedroom, chased those dreams all the way to Los Angeles. He now has a huge fan base and more than 3 million followers on Instagram. Jay Versace’s future is both hilarious and very, very bright.

What he wishes older people understood about Gen Z: I wish that they would realize that history just repeats itself. Sometimes they might think we’re straying the wrong way, but I’m pretty sure their parents thought that about their generation too.

His greatest accomplishment (so far): Moving from New Jersey to L.A. I moved across the world with just a dream. I feel like that was one of my greatest accomplishments because so many things followed after that, and it’s just all one big accomplishment.
What he hopes to be doing in 10 or 20 years: I see myself being a really great influencer. Acting, making music, making clothes. Also building something for the people who will come after me. I want to help upcoming artists and creative people get on their feet, once I get the platform to get on mine.
