Aspen Wins Valentine's Day With Clever Dating Profile Posts

It's February 14th, and we all know what that means: ski mountains on Tinder?

Aspen Snowmass, CO, took Valentine's Day matters into their own hands by posting a series of comical mountain personifications to Instagram, imagining each peak's profile and what kind of match they would be looking for.

The funniest part is they didn't change their age for the Valentine's Day dating slideshow, and even while Tinder is usually geared towards young people and the casual dating scene, these mountains remained eligible for a senior discount, the youngest (Snowmass) being 57.

Aspen Snowmass opened in 1967, and "was designed to emulate ski villages in the Alps, nestled against the slopes and with nature as their defining principle."

Perhaps that's worth adding into their dating bio: "loves nature and trips to Europe." Sounds like a classy date.

The most appealing mountain out of the bunch is Aspen Highlands. At 66 years old, Aspen Highlands is looking for "something serious," and in simple pleasures lists "prayer flags in the wind."

A mountain after my own heart.

Buttermilk's dating bio is on-brand, with the harsh barring of anyone who does not "want kids" or "uphill."

Perhaps Palisades Tahoe, CA, could create a bio on this mountain-dating-app and join the pool: at 75 years old, Palisades is looking for something serious, their ideal first date is competing for GNAR points (B.N. runs are fairly risque for a first date, but...) and you can meet them at the top of Siberia Express or inside The Slot.

Alpine Meadows is the mellow, 63-year-old looking for something casual, and they go crazy for traversing, boutique skis, and wearing hand-knitted beanies under their helmet. They dislike crowds, pop music, and snowboarders (they have nothing against them, they just wish they'd keep their speed on the traverse track). Their favorite animal is the wolverine.

But no matter who you date, you can't rely on relationships won't make you happy. Only skiing can do that.
