The 44-year-old actor was married to Moore from 2005 to 2013.

While Ashton Kutcher has been happily married to Mila Kunis since 2015, he had another high-profile long-term relationship before that with Demi Moore. The two were married in 2005 and together for many years, before separating in 2011, and getting a divorce in 2013.

In a new interview, Kutcher reflects on his divorce from Moore, sharing how it made him feel "like a wholesale f*****g failure."

Speaking with Esquire for its cover story, the actor said, "Nothing makes you feel like a failure like divorce. Divorce feels like a wholesale f-----g failure. You failed at marriage.” Touching on his infidelity and how he has come to terms with the mistakes he made, Kutcher proclaimed, "You own the shit you did wrong, and you go forward."

The couple got a major amount of attention from tabloids from the start, with Kutcher saying of the news that he and Moore had started dating, "The moment that information broke, my life changed."

Throughout their time together, Kutcher became a stepdad to Moore's three daughters and they had difficulty trying to have a baby, with Moore losing a late-term pregnancy.

The 44-year-old commented on the miscarriage: "Losing a kid that you think you’re going to have, and that close to thinking you’re going to have a kid, is really, really painful. Everyone deals with that in different ways."

Looking back on the entire experience, Kutcher went on to say, "I love kids. I wouldn’t have gotten married to a woman that had three kids if I didn’t love kids. The idea of having another kid would have been incredible."

Still, he believes that everything happened as it was supposed to, saying, "For whatever reason, I had to have that experience."

Now, Kutcher is married to Kunis and they have two kids together, and Kutcher is still close to Moore's daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah.

He and Moore are on good terms, though Kutcher admits that there was a little anger when Moore released her memoir in 2019, which talked about their relationship.

Kutcher told Esquire, "I was f*****g pissed... I’d finally gotten to a place where the press had really laid off me and Mila, and my life and my family. And then the next day, [the paparazzi] are at my kids’ school."

But he clarified that there are no hard feelings about the situation, saying, "I don’t want to open anything up in that realm."

We're just glad there's seemingly no real drama, and everyone is on good terms!
