Ashton Kutcher and Reese Witherspoon Poke Fun at Their Drastic Height Difference in Silly Snaps

The pair are promoting their upcoming rom-com, 'Your Place or Mine.'

Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher are a romantic comedy pair that some people never saw coming, but the longtime friends prove their incredible chemistry in the upcoming Netflix rom-com Your Place or Mine.

The two talented actors are just as fun and charming off-screen as they are on. They were caught joking around about their intense height difference while promoting the new film, and their humor is contagious.

In new photos from a promotional event in Los Angeles, Calif., Witherspoon and Kutcher first posed while standing at full height, with Kutcher towering over his costar, who is generally reported to be around 5 feet 1 inch tall. Meanwhile, Kutcher is reported to be 6 feet 2 inches tall. In one photo, Witherspoon didn't look too happy with the height difference.

While standing together, Witherspoon was about as tall as Kutcher's shoulder, even with heels adding a couple of inches onto her actual height.

But soon enough, Kutcher appeased Witherspoon by crouching down until the top of his head was in line with hers. He had to go down so far that he was almost in a fully seated position, causing them both to laugh.

The new rom-com, which is the first time Witherspoon and Kutcher have ever worked together on screen, will be released on Netflix on Feb. 10, just in time for Valentine's Day.

In the movie, Witherspoon and Kutcher play longtime friends Debbie and Peter whose friendship started with a one-night stand 20 years ago. Debbie lives in Los Angeles raising her son Jack (Wesley Kimmel), while Peter lives in New York by himself, but they still talk all the time.

One day, Peter suggests they swap homes for a bit so that Debbie can get a break as he watches over her son, leading the two to make some major realizations about their feelings for one another.

Along with Witherspoon, Kutcher, and Kimmel, the fantastic cast includes Tig Notaro, Jesse Williams, Zoe Chao, and Steve Zahn.
