Ashton Kutcher Gave an Update on Where Things Stand with Demi Moore

Ashton Kutcher has spoken out about his relationship with Demi Moore for the first time after her tell-all book was released.

Kutcher appeared on the WTF with Marc Maron podcast, where he discussed his current relationship with Moore, with whom he split in 2013.

"We don’t hang out. You know. It’s all good, we don’t hang out," Kutcher told Maron, adding that he makes "a really conscious effort to stay in touch with" Moore's daughters.

"There’s no badness," he added.

Kutcher and Moore married in 2005 and divorced eight years later. Last year, Moore delved into their relationship in her memoir, Inside Out, revealing she had a miscarriage during their relationship, and claiming that he cheated on her in the midst of the emotional trauma.

Kutcher never responded directly to the book in public, but in the wake of Inside Out's release in September, he tweeted, "I was about to push the button on a really snarky tweet. Then I saw my son, daughter, and wife and I deleted it."

Still, he said he remains close with her daughters, Rumer, Scout, and Tallulah Willis.

"I loved them and I’m never gonna stop loving them and respecting them and honoring them and rooting for them to be successful in whatever they’re pursuing," he told Maron. "At the same time, I’m not their father. I was never trying to be their father. I always had respect for Bruce [Willis] and I think he’s a brilliant human being and a wonderful man. So if they don’t want an engagement with me, I’m not gonna force it upon them, but they all do and it’s great."
