Ashtabula County Community Action Agency set to participate in the ACCOC's Home and Family Show

May 1—ASHTABULA — The Ashtabula County Community Action Agency is set to participate in the Ashtabula County Home and Family Show on Saturday and Sunday at Ashtabula Towne Square.

The show is sponsored by the Ashtabula County Chambers of Commerce.

The agency will have a booth set up in Ashtabula Town Square's west wing.

"We are pleased to have the the opportunity to provide information to the public about our services," said CAA Executive Director Alissa Holdson. "The home show is one way we can meet with people in an informal setting to let them know about the resources available."

Holdson said that the agency would like to highlight its Home Weatherization Program (HWAP).

The program is designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce energy consumption, and ensure safe environments for income-eligible households in Ashtabula, Lake and Geauga Counties, according to Holdson.

CAA HWAP Billing Specialist Amber Marunowski will be at the show on Saturday morning.

"I'm looking forward to being able to give out our information to potential clients and let them know more about all of the programs we have available," Marunowski said.

Show hours are Saturday from 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

"I think they're a great organization," said show coordinator Lara Reibold. "We have over 70 vendors. It's going to be an awesome weekend."

Reibold said children can enjoy a bounce house, rock wall, face painting, car cruise, food trucks, and Fortnite characters.
