Ashley Graham Reveals Her Go-To Products for Radiant, Makeup-Free Skin

Ashley Graham’s skin changes with the seasons, and so does her routine—but she remains loyal to a core group of products, all of which help achieve a soft, dewy complexion as a new mom.

“I’m all about moisture and having glowing skin,” Graham told Elle in 2019.

The 33-year-old supermodel has experimented with her fair share of serums, creams, and oils, and these are her tried-and-true favorites.

She removes all of her makeup and uses a gentle cleanser.

Graham has used the cult-favorite Bioderma micellar water for years, as she learned about it from backstage makeup artists before its popularity exploded. She uses it on a cotton round to remove the day’s face before going in with cleanser. “I don’t care how intoxicated you are on what. You better wash your face at night,” she said in a video with Harper’s Bazaar. “At least get the make-up off! If you forget the moisturizer, so what? Get the make-up off!”

To wash her face, Graham uses Skinmedica’s Facial Cleanser. “It’s just a nice jelly cleanser—nothing too abrasive,” she told Into the Gloss (ITG). She’ll follow that up with a La Suite Skin Tone Enhancement Pad from Union Square Dermatology, which wipes away any remaining dirt while toning the skin.

Then, she slathers on serums.

Her top two are SkinCeuticals’ C E Ferulic and the DefenAge Skincare 8-in-1 serum which help minimize any hyperpigmentation, per ITG. Although they’re effective, these serums contain strong active ingredients, so she chose not to use them while pregnant with her son Isaac, according to Vogue.

She is all about moisturizer.

Graham loves to stay hydrated. Some of her favorite moisturizers are Retrouvé’s Intensive Replenishing Facial Moisturiser (she thanks Tracee Ellis Ross for the rec), SkinCeuticals’ Triple Lipid Restore, and Augustinus Bader’s The Rich Cream, according to a morning routine video she did with Elle last year.

Lately, she’s been loving the affordable Weleda moisturizers. “If it’s summer I’m doing the Light Nourishment [version], if it’s winter I’m doing Skin Food,” she told ITG. “I tend to be drier, but I do have combination skin, and I’ve never broken out from either of those.”

She’s not above layering two or three moisturizers, either. Especially when she was pregnant, per Vogue, her skin was really dry, so she’d follow a moisturizing mask with the Triple Lipid Restore for an extra drink.

After all of her creams are on, she’ll spritz her face with a rosewater spray. Her favorite is Heritage Store’s. “I use rose water with glycerin,” she told Elle. “I like the one from Whole Foods or any natural grocery store. I spray it before moisturizer, after moisturizer, before makeup, after makeup, in the middle of the day … Your skin feels like it’s got this moisture-laminate on it. It’s beautiful.”

SPF is always a must.

Dermophisiologique Skin Photo Block is my absolute favorite sunscreen,” Graham told ITG. “It’s made in Italy, it keeps you illuminated, and it doesn’t come off white at all. My husband wears it too.”

Her go-to lip balm is universal and affordable.

A classic: Aquaphor Healing Ointment. “It’s tried and true,” she told Harper’s Bazaar. “I use it on my heels and my elbows too.”

She uses a popular spot treatment.

Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion is a bottle of pink milky magic. Graham uses a cotton swab to retrieve product from the bottle and dot on blemishes (What blemishes? We don’t see them!), and leaves it to dry overnight.

Extra tools, masks, and supplements keep her skin looking its best.

Graham is a big fan of Olly vitamins, particularly the Undeniable Beauty Multivitamin Gummies for hair, skin, and nails, which she takes nightly, per Harper’s Bazaar. She regularly massages her face with a face roller to depuff and promote lymphatic drainage, per Vogue, and she loves a good face mask. “I’m 100% obsessed with the masks from 111Skin,” she told ITG. “They’re heaven.”
