Ashley Graham Is Launching the Dreamiest Size-Inclusive Bridal Collection
Ashley Graham is giving every bride the opportunity to feel beautiful on her wedding day with a brand-new bridal collection.
Calling upon her own difficult experience finding a wedding dress that fit when she married her husband Justin Ervin in 2009, the 32-year-old mom to be and body positivity advocate just created a 16-piece luxury bridal collection with Pronovias and it’s all about size-inclusive options.
Available in sizes zero to 34 and crafted to fit the curves of any body type, Graham’s new collection is moving the bridal industry toward a more thoughtful future. Her designs will be available to shop later this year and will retail for $1,000 to $3,500, which is relatively modest for wedding gowns.
The collection features everything from ethereal lace appliqué mermaid gowns with intricate sleeves to beaded-bodiced sultry numbers with plunging necklines. There’s also, of course, several classic numbers that call to mind Carolina Herrera’s go-to silhouettes and a whole lot of train drama. Suffice it to say, there’s something for every kind of bride.
Graham explained why she felt compelled to create a collection with the Barcelona-based bridal brand, saying in a statement, “From shopping for the perfect wedding dress to the big reveal on your special day, women should feel confident and empowered throughout the entire process.” We couldn’t agree more.
Unfortunately, when Graham set out to find her wedding dress, she didn’t have the experience she had always dreamed of. “When I shopped for my wedding dress ten years ago, I had difficulty finding a style in my size that fit well and made me feel special,” she said, adding, “It’s necessary for the bridal industry to be an advocate for inclusivity and body diversity, and therefore I’m honored to partner with the luxury leader, Pronovias, to offer beautiful and comfortable options in many sizes and styles.”
