You’d think that after centuries of moms nursing their children, breastfeeding would be a widely accepted part of motherhood — but evidently, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Luckily, that hasn’t stopped 33-year-old model Ashley Graham.

Since welcoming her first child, Issac Ervin, one year ago, Graham has made it a point to share some of their most precious, and intimate moments on social media, including videos of her breastfeeding him.

“Perfect morning with my sweet lil man. The snow in NYC is wild today, but still going to throw Isaac into his snow suit for a quick sled sheesh!,” she captioned her latest clip.

While many moms have applauded and encouraged her efforts to normalize something so obviously natural, others have weighed in, criticizing her for oversharing on social media, where she has more than 12 million followers.

Her post was met with tons of support from fans who agree that breastfeeding shouldn’t be considered obscene. But unfortunately, the positive comments weren’t enough to drown out the negative ones.

“Don’t need to see this. Good for you but does anyone keep anything so precious and innocent private? It’s between you and you baby. Keep it that way,” one person commented.

“Private moments... I can’t understand why you post them,” wrote another. “Very cute, but, I honestly don't want to see breast, we get it your feeding your baby very cute, but please cover up.”

Other fans criticized the volume of similar breastfeeding videos she’s been posting, urging her to cut back. Some simply found it bizarre to share something so intimate with so many people.

“Is this all you know how to post? Like seriously breastfeeding is all you post,” one of her followers wrote. “The fact that you feel the need to post this is completely deranged. Why can’t a special moment with your child just be between you both and husband? Why do you feel the need to show millions of people?” wrote another.

Graham has yet to respond to the backlash — but as someone who has been critiqued for everything from her armpit hair to the size of her body, it’s probably safe to assume that she doesn’t have any plans to let the haters get to her.
