Ashley Graham Accentuates Her Curves in Over-the-Top Dress

Ashley Graham went all out for her 2023 Met Gala look and fans can't get enough of it.

The 35-year-old model stepped out on the champagne carpet for the Monday, May 1 event dedicated to the late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld wearing a sophisticated Barbie pink and black satin and velvet gown. She accessorized the trumpet-style dress with one silver dangling diamond and pearl earring and one stud earring that featured an ornate cluster of pearls.

She perfected the look by framing pieces of hair from her chin-length bob in a pattern that hugged the side of her face and drew attention to her soft-glam makeup and mismatched earrings.

"Honored to wear this show-stopping creation by the brilliant, spectacular (and my new bff) Harris Reed, paying tribute to the iconic Karl Lagerfeld. I just feel so beautiful," she told fans on Twitter before sharing a few photos of herself in the gown.

Fans immediately took to social media to hype up the former Sports Illustrated cover girl and praised all the effort she and her team of stylists put in.

"Is ashley graham making a reference to the pink satin dress from the chanel 1987 couture collection?" one questioned. "anyways, i LOVE IT."

"Ashley Graham looks absolutely STUNNING," another gushed alongside a clip of the model posing for the cameras outside her hotel.

The love didn't stop there. Someone else suggested she was "best dressed of the night," and a fourth fan called it a "beautiful reinterpretation" of one of Lagerfeld's most iconic designs.

For those of you not in on the pop culture significance of it all, this year's theme, "Karl Lagerfeld: A Line Of Beauty," is dedicated to the late fashion designer, artist and photographer known for his work as a highly-applauded creative director for Chanel and Fendi. Lagerfeld, best recognized for his Edwardian-style fashion and distinctive appearance, also created many successful works under his own brands and in collaboration with a multitude of other designers.

Other celebrities that perfectly executed the 2023 Met Gala theme include Kendall Jenner, Olivia Wilde and Emily Ratajkowski.
