Ashley Benson’s First Maternity Shoot Is a Topless Magazine Cover

This almost-mother is already mothering. Pretty Little Liars star Ashley Benson, who is currently expecting her first child with fiancé Brandon Davis, posed for a magazine cover topless and cradling her baby bump. It’s giving editorial!

“Mama 💕💕💕,” she captioned the Ladygunn digital magazine cover on Instagram. In the photo, Benson uses her arm to cover her breasts while making sure to keep her enormous engagement ring front and center. She only confirmed her pregnancy in November, and this is the first time she’s acknowledged it on social media. Obviously, friends and fans jumped at the opportunity to publicly congratulate the actor, with Pretty Little Liars creator (of the show, not the books) I. Marlene King writing, “Beautiful mamma. So excited to meet your mini me. 💖💖💖” And PLL co-star Sasha Pieterse added, “😍😍😍.” Benson’s close pal and Spring Breakers costar Vanessa Hudgens wrote, “Yes she isssss,” and Kaley Cuoco chimed in with, “I mean!” To which we add: Girl, you look so pretty!

Ashley Benson opened up about her pregnancy journey in the Ladygunn article, alluding to why she kept the news, for the most part, quiet, and her relationship to fame: “I kept private because being so seen by everyone else, everyone has an opinion. It’s very lonely and you just feel judged. It’s really hard.”

Benson explained that after years of “jump[ing] from relationship to relationship,” she dedicated a year to working on herself…which led to her current relationship. “The person that I’ve always wanted to be, I was becoming. And I just wanted to just let that ride out and see where life takes me. Which ironically is when I connected with Brandon…. It was immediate. I was just like, I think I’m gonna marry you.”

She also hinted at a still-not-announced secret project that is unlike what she’s “known for,” slyly adding, “And with the birth of my child, the rebirth of my career is going to happen too.” Can’t wait to see it all unfold.
