Ashley Benson Is Constantly Leaning On Girlfriend Cara Delevingne

Cara Delevingne and Ashley Benson took their grand old time confirming their relationship after rumors of a romance first made the rounds in 2018. But once they did in April 2019, by defending their “true love” to homophobic Instagram trolls, they've shared a few PDA-filled moments and partner-appreciation posts.

Cara apparently worried that keeping her relationship with the Pretty Little Liars star hush-hush communicated she was ashamed of it—which she absolutely wasn't—so she decided to give me the people what they want.

“I’ve never been in a relationship where things are so public, or where I posted pictures of someone else,” she told ELLE UK. “This seemed different. We had gotten to the point where we had kept it a secret, or at least not wanted attention, and now I feel like I’m not going to not be proud.”

But still, despite the shift in how much they share, they've kept certain things private. Or, at least they've tried to. Take that sex swing they were snapped carrying into their home, or when Cara rented out London’s Natural History Museum for Ashley’s birthday and outfitted the joint with a bed and a casual six Christmas trees. Or how 'bout the speech Cara gave when she was honored with the Trevor Project Hero Award and she thanked Ashley without even saying her name: “I have a special woman to thank and you know who you are. She's one of the people who helped me love myself when I needed it most, and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which was a lot harder than I thought. I love you, Sprinkles [her nickname for Ashley].”

To their credit, the sneak peeks into their relationship that Ashley and Cara have (intentionally and unintentionally) offered up for fans to devour have been nice and all, but these joint outings and Instagram posts are few and far between.
