  • Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne confirmed their relationship this week, and the reason why is pretty cool.

  • Cara was honored at the TrevorLIVE Gala in New York City last night, and her toast included a super sweet shoutout to Ashley.

Rumors about Ashley Benson and Cara Delevingne's potential relationship have been going around for a while now (The sex swing they brought into their apartment last month was a pretty big hint.). But three days ago, the two of them posted a steamy makeout video on Instagram, seemingly confirming their relationship.

Someone asked Cara about it at the TrevorLIVE Gala last night. She was being honored at the gala, so it seemed appropriate to ask why she decided to confirm her relationship now.

"I don't know, because it is Pride," she said. "It's been 50 years since Stonewall happened and I don't know. It's been just about our one year anniversary so, why not?"

"Stonewall" is in reference to The Stonewall Inn, a legendary gay bar and historic landmark in NYC which was the site of riots in 1969 that helped kickstart the gay rights movement. The bar itself has become a symbol of gay rights in the years since.

When Cara was giving her speech at the event, she made sure to thank Ashley for her support, but in a super cute and sneaky way.

"I also have another very special woman in this room to thank and you know who you are," she said. "She's one of the people who help me love myself when I needed it most and I really needed it. She showed me what real love is and how to accept it, which is a lot harder than I thought."

That's pretty sweet in and of itself, but Ashley posted this Instagram Story of Cara giving her speech, which was also adorable.
