Aruba I Do: The Largest Vow Renewal in the Caribbean

Aruba I Do, the largest vow renewal event in the Caribbean, is back for its fifth year. The milestone ceremony for this year will take place on Aug. 9 on Eagle Beach.

“Aruba is honored to host the largest vow renewal in the Caribbean for a fifth year and provide this beloved tradition to couples of all demographics worldwide to experience romance in a way unique to the One happy island,” said Ronella Croes, CEO of the Aruba Tourism Authority. “This year’s registrants have an average of 20 years of marriage together, making the event all the more heartwarming to witness on the breathtaking Eagle Beach.”

Participating couples also can take advantage of romantic vacation packages. They combine hotel stays with some of the most romantic on-island activities and Aruba’s picturesque backdrop to rekindle their love. Couples can unwind on this Caribbean island with sunset sailing, couples’ massages, relaxing candlelight dining and breakfast in bed.

This news follows the release of fresh survey results from the Aruba Tourism Authority in collaboration with The Harris Poll. The study revealed that 80 percent of Americans believe vow renewal ceremonies results in marital happiness. The study revealed 87 percent of Americans believe vow renewals are a wonderful way to mark a milestone. In the survey, 83 percent agreed that vows can change several times during a marriage. Also, 86 percent thought vow renewals offered a chance for couples to create new memories in a special place.
