Artsfest returns in force for Memorial Day weekend

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) — Artsfest returned in full force for this Memorial Day weekend.

Over 150 vendors lined Front Street along Riverfront Park Saturday.

Everything from furniture to jewelry, painting to photography, and much, much more was included.

There were plenty of food trucks, too, along with music.

“It’s a really great way to celebrate people that have all kinds of creative talents,” Cortney Ranck Cameron, Special Events Coordinator for the City of Harrisburg, said. “People that are making handmade pieces of artwork, people that are performing on our entertainment stages, even our food trucks with their culinary skills. I think people just really like supporting these small businesses.”

Artsfest is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.

Street parking is free Sunday and Monday as well.
