Artist Lana Gomez Tricked Her Husband Into Believing That She Received Dozens of Amazon Packages
We've all been there. You open the door to your front porch, and there they are. An infinite number of packages and boxes from Amazon. Your significant other explains to you that what started out as a single purchase to replace that old duvet turned into an entire Amazon haul.
Seemingly no stranger to the lure of the haul, artist Lana Gomez saw the infamous Amazon haul as an opportunity to prank her husband on April Fools' Day using a ton of Amazon boxes her neighbors donated.
Both Gomez and her husband, comedian Sebastian Maniscalco captured the hilarity on Instagram.
"The best April fools prank ever… Thanks to all the neighbors for donating their boxes and thanks to @lanagomez for always keeping me on my toes," Maniscalco wrote in the caption to a series of photos of the massive haul.
Video of the prank shows Maniscalco in a pretty solid state of disbelief as he stares at the the nearly 50 packages and appropriately asks, "Why do we have so much?"
"I came home from a long day of work and this is what I see. I've never seen anything like this," the comedian said.
Needless to say, don't try this at home.
