Art League hosts Spring Art Show

ELKHART — The Elkhart Art League announced plans for its Member and Student Spring Art Show and Sale, showcasing a diverse array of talent from local artists.

Organizers say the event promises to be a celebration of creativity and a testament to the rich artistic tapestry within the community. The show will also be judged for prizes, giving cash awards for the top pieces.

The event is from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 1, at the Elkhart Art League, 131 Tyler St., Suite 1B, Elkhart. Admission is free and the event is open to the public.

This year’s Spring Art Show will feature a collection of paintings, pottery, mixed media and more, providing a visual feast for art enthusiasts of all ages. Member and student artists have poured their passion and creativity into their works, offering a unique opportunity for the community to experience the diversity and talent within the Elkhart County art scene.

Year-round class offerings include an array of media, including acrylic and watercolor painting, print making, wood carving and ceramics. Elkhart Art League said it looks forward to exhibiting a variety of works in all these media by artists of all levels of experience. Featured artists will include EAL students and members. Many works will also be available for purchase.

The Spring Art Show will also feature a unique opportunity for the public to engage with the artists and gain insight into the inspiration behind their work.
