Arnold Schwarzenegger just announced that he's working on the the newest Terminator revival. The actor, who turns 71 today, posted a video over the weekend explaining that he was unable to attend the Climate Action Pacific Partnership (CAPP) due to filming, CBR.com reports.

"Prime Minister Frank Bainimarama, I want to congratulate you for this great event and I’m sorry I cannot be with you, but I’m currently shooting Terminator 6 and so this is why I’m not there," Schwarzenegger said in the video. "Otherwise, I would have been there, because this is a terrific event and you have shown terrific leadership."

The Terminator films are known for their action-packed scenes, but Schwarzenegger has been crushing multiple workouts a day lately in preparation for the role. Despite undergoing emergency open heart surgery in March, Schwarzenegger is in the gym, and tells his followers it's all about the "reps, reps, reps."

The untitled Terminator sequel will be Schwarzenegger's sixth time playing a cyborg assassin for the franchise. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the latest film will be a direct sequel to Terminator 2: Judgment Day, and will ignore the alternating timelines of the other Terminator movies.

Linda Hamilton is set to reprise her role as Sarah Connor, and it's been rumored that Brett Azar of Terminator: Genisys will again play a younger Schwarzenegger in the film. The new movie will be directed by Tim Miller, and also stars Mackenzie Davis, Gabriel Luna, Natalia Reyes, and Diego Boneta, with a scheduled release date of November 22, 2019.
