During his appearance on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, Arnold Schwarzenegger announced that he and Logan Paul are launching the "Slap Fighting Championship."

Centered around the emerging sport of slap fighting, the Slap Fighting Championship will be launched with an inaugural event at the Arnold Schwarzenegger Sports Festival. Taking place in Columbus, Ohio, the event will be available on Fanmio, Logan Paul's YouTube channel and Facebook.

Speaking to USA Today, "I love the absurdity of it," said Paul. "I love the idea that two guys could just stand across from each other and just slap each other and see who falls down first. It’s hilarious to me. It’s like, how is that a real event? What the (expletive) is that sport?"

"I know we’re going to have a great time watching the slap competition as long as we don’t get slapped," added Schwarzenegger.

According to SlapStrike, the event will see competitors face-off in a fight of three rounds. Each round will see one slap per competitor with judges scoring the fight and a knockout ruled if a player cannot continue within 30 seconds of being slapped.
