Ariana Grande's Separation From Dalton Gomez Prompts Mixed Reactions

Following news of Ariana Grande's separation from Dalton Gomez, some fans are already saying, "Thank u, next."

On Monday, July 17, new reports revealed that the Wicked star supposedly split from her husband of two years, with a source dating the demise of their marriage as sometime earlier this year and going on to cite the beginning of 2023 as the two's official date of separation.

Without wasting any time, the pop star's followers shared their opinion on the matter. Some didn't seem to mind the news, sharing that they only care about Grande's well-being and, in turn, used the opportunity to make jokes about what the end of this relationship could mean for her music career.

"Ariana grande talking about her next album," someone quipped alongside a gif of Adele saying, "divorce, babe, divorce."

"At the end of the day i just hope ariana is ok," another shared alongside a clip of Grande performing her hit "Needy."

Others, however, refused to believe the rumor regarding the two's relationship, with one joking, "ariana and dalton finding out that they’re getting divorce through tmz."

One mega fan fighting back against the latest gossip came prepared with screenshots of social media posts made by either Grande, 30, or Gomez, 27, flaunting their love for one another through public tributes on their anniversary and permanent ink.

In fact, the couple's behavior in the months since they supposedly split has been cited as reason that the source alleging the two broke up was not to be trusted.

"they [split] in january but ariana posted their anniversary?" a second user questioned.

"all of this being after january i think we shouldn't worry unless ariana confirms it," someone else suggested alongside photos of the two snuggling up to one another.

As of writing, neither Grande nor Gomez have addressed the end of their marriage.
