After having some beef with Grammys producers who wanted to tell Ariana Grande which songs she could sing during the show, she pulled out all together and spent her night at home celebrating her wins. Since Ariana decided to skip the show at the last minute, she had a dress picked out, but decided it shouldn't go to waste and showed everyone on Instagram. Now, her fans are convinced the satin-y Zac Posen ball gown was a tribute to rapper Mac Miller.

Here's her dress and her dog that she adopted from Mac, Myron, playing with it. Just a casual Sunday night at home.

One thing that came to everyone's minds when they saw her dress was how much she looked like a real-life Cinderella, which just so happens to be the name of a song Mac had written about her. The song is basically about how much he likes her and goes like, "Daddy told you, better bring your ass home/ Cinderella better get your ass home" and like, "Ooh Cinderella don't you run out of time/ It feels like you've been taking all day/ Wherever you came from, wherever you going/ I promise I'm not far behind."

So, once fans put two and two together, they realized her dress could be a nod to her ex-boyfriend.

To finish the night, Ariana cuddled up with Myron as she was getting ready to go to sleep, which could be another reference to the song when he says, "You in my dreams that's why I sleep all the time." It could also be a reference to her song "Ghostin'" that is said to be about Mac and includes lyrics like, "He just comes to visit me when I'm dreaming."

This year, Mac's album Swimming was nominated for Best Rap Album, but Cardi B ended up winning the category. Mac was honored at the ceremony during the "In Memoriam" segment of the show.
