Ariana Grande Wore a Bra as a Top for Her Date With Pete Davidson
Ariana Grande and fiancé Pete Davidson were spotted in New York City on June 28, coordinating their Big Apple black looks like pros, though Ariana’s outfit was decidedly different from what we normally see her wear. While she’s become well-known for embracing the lampshade craze — AKA an oversized sweatshirt or T-shirt with knee-high boots — it seems she's experimenting with a new trend this summer. Ariana was seen on the arm of Pete wearing a pair of distressed boyfriend jeans and a black bralette, with no shirt at all. She draped an oversized black bomber jacket on top, but let it hang loose around her elbows so that it acted more like a casual shawl than a piece of outerwear.
The pop star balanced the dainty black bralette with a pair of chunky lace-up platform shoes on her feet, looking like the true ‘90s girl she is. Pete, on the other hand, covered up more than usual, adding a bright blue patterned bandana-slash-face mask and pulled-up hoodie to his two-tone sweatsuit.
No matter what they’re wearing, they’ve begun to coordinate like the best of them, showing us all the new and stylish ways to take the athleisure trend into summer.
