Ariana Grande Is Unapologetically Horny on Her Positions Album, and Fans Love It

Ariana Grande dropped her sixth studio album, Positions, on Friday, October 30, and fans are loving it. The record is in line sonically with the singer’s last two records, Sweetener and Thank U, Next: R&B-influenced pop, mostly mid-tempo, and very sultry. 

That last descriptor is worth calling out. Positions is a capital-H horny album—arguably Grande’s most explicit to date. Just take a look at some of these lyrics: 

  • “I just wanna make time for you / Swear it’s just right for you / Like this pussy designed for you.” (“Nasty”)

  • “You might think I’m crazy / The way I’ve been craving / If I put it quite plainly / Just give me them babies.” (“34+35,” which, yes, is about 69-ing)

  • “Can you stay up all night? / Fuck me ’til the daylight? / 34 35?” (“34+35”)

  • “Even though I’m worth it, you can hit it like a side chick / Don’t need no side dick.” (“34+35”)

  • “Boy, I’m tryna meet your mama on a Sunday / Then make a lotta love on a Monday.” (“Positions”)

  • “Treat it just like Givenchy / It’s expensive to taste / Ain’t no need to remind you / It’s AG in your face.” (“Love Language”)

Grande, who’s dating real estate agent Dalton Gomez, doesn’t mince words with her desires and fantasies, and that’s refreshing. Much as Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion did in “WAP,” Grande is owning her sexuality here, fully, in all its uninhibited glory. Fans are thrilled.

“Ariana being horny on main i’m here for it,” one fan wrote. Another added, “All the ladies on my TL horny for Ariana today u love to see it.”
