Ariana Grande Is Taking a Social Media Break Following Her Split From Pete Davidson

For the first time since news broke about Ariana Grande's reported split from Pete Davidson, the “No Tears Left To Cry” singer has seemingly broken her silence about the breakup.

According to Cosmopolitan, Ariana alluded to the split and announced a well-deserved break from the Internet in a now-deleted Instagram Story on October 16. The post came after she wrapped up work on NBC's A Very Wicked Halloween concert special, in which she’ll sing at least one of Elphaba's songs.

In her Instagram Story, Ariana reportedly wrote, "Ok today was v special and i'm so grateful i was able to be there. time to say bye bye to the internet for just a lil bit. it's hard not to bump news n stuff that i'm not tryna to see rn. it's very sad and we're all tryin very hard to keep goin. love u. and thank u for bein here always."

Just prior to the honest acknowledgement, and sporting a wickedly gorgeous green lip, Ariana had also taken to Instagram to open up about her anxiety. "Can't believe i almost let my anxiety ruin this for me today !!! not today satan !,” she wrote. “Not tomorrow or the next day either not no more u can suck my big green d*ck. 💚 finna sing my heart out and be a big walking vessel of love bye."

Since calling off the engagement, Ariana has reportedly also given her engagement ring back to Pete. The couple announced their engagement in May 2018, and then proceeded to go on a roller coaster of getting matching tattoos, pet adoptions, and Insta-flirting.

Pete hasn't officially commented on the reported breakup yet.
