Ariana Grande Posts a Message to Fans on Instagram Stories

Ariana Grande loves her fans, something that's entirely clear in the sweet photos she takes with them. But because she loves them so much, it's hard for her to see them cover their faces or crop themselves out of photos. As noted by JustJared, the singer-songwriter gave some words of encouragement in an Instagram story to fans who may be struggling with body image.

"I love meeting y’all out and about, it makes me so happy!" she wrote earlier today, March 11. "But it makes me so sad when y’all don’t put your faces in the photos or put emojis over your faces or ask to not be in them! You show me so much unconditional love all the time no matter what TF I look like. You deserve to show yourselves that same kindness. Please learn to give that to yourselves! You will get there and you deserve it and I love you the very same way! Sweet dreams."

Of course, it's completely people's choice whether they want to share photos of themselves or not, and the insecurities that get in the way of that are very real. But Ariana simply wants them to know that they don't have anything to hide. In a world where celebrities and models often get photoshopped and many people only share their most Instagram-perfect pictures, it can come to feel like only certain faces or bodies deserve to be seen. But it's important to remember that all bodies and faces have value and beauty — and it helps to hear such a powerful reminder from Ariana herself.
