Ariana Grande just celebrated one year of her beauty brand, R.E.M., with a cute French-girl-inspired get-up! The “positions” singer, 29, posed for a new shoot to honor her accomplishment, rocking a plaid, corset-esque, bustier-like top with a black pleated mini skirt. Grande shared photos of herself in the outfit with her 339 million followers, as she stood in front of a brown background. The Grammy winner channeled 60s-inspired Parisian style with her Celine top’s print along with her accessories, including black leather gloves to match her skirt, and a brown bow in her hair.

Grande pulled her newly blonde tresses into an elegant half-up, half-down style, and shimmered with small dangly hoop earrings. She flaunted a glowing, stunning makeup look that was made possible with her line’s products, of course. Grande posted a black-and-white version of the above photo on Instagram along with others, and wrote in her caption that her photo-ready face was highlighted by “our sweetener concealer, lengthening mascara, grow n show lashes, babydoll eyeshadow palette, miss mercury highlight, practically permanent lip marker (in booked n busy), utmost importance plumping gloss (in pink razor – a new favorite since blonde)” and “space shape brow gel.” Grande added that she “of course prepped with our under eye cooling balm.”

Soon after this photo series, Grande also uploaded a what she deemed “grateful, mushy post” that featured a video of herself in a lab while testing her products, and clips from her YouTube videos in which she applies them and gives makeup tutorials for fans. Her line, as she proved, has come a long way! Grande wrote in her Instagram video’s caption, “happy first birthday to my sweet @r.e.m.beauty !!!!!!!!!!! i am so proud of this dreamy, vegan, otherworldly line that we have created and i am so grateful for all of the gorgeous faces that have shown us so much love and support this first year out.”

She continued, adding, “it is so sincerely fulfilling to create in this capacity, to encourage creativity, self expression, and to see people feel their most beautiful ! there is so much unique beautifulness that is everywhere on this planet and in all of you, it makes me sob,” she went on with a crab emoji (as she is a Cancer queen) and a heart. “i feel so much intense love for all of you and gratitude for a life that allows me to create and connect with so many humans through various outlets of art, it is overwhelming at times (!!!)” Grande concluded her message, looking optimistically toward the near future, “thank you and i cannot WAIT for you to see what we have in store for you this year, i am bursting with secrets.”
