Parents can typically humiliate their children by showing a prom date baby photos or saying something uncool around their friends. They don’t usually engage in a Twitter feud with a famous singer.

In case you missed it, Ariana Grande‘s mother, Joan Grande, recently butted heads with Piers Morgan for jabbing at the British girl group, Little Mix, over a photo shoot in which their bare bodies were covered with negative words.

Joan defended the girl group, and Morgan tweeted back, “… I’d just prefer they use their talent to sell records rather than their nudity. As your own daughter does!”

Ariana then served the tea:

She wrapped things up by tweeting a photo of the 53-year-old journalist.

Morgan’s 25-year-old son, Spencer, is embarrassed by the entire incident.

Spencer’s followers had a bit of fun with his tongue-in-cheek tweet by joking that he “never had a chance” in the first place, and one offere, “I think most of the world feel sorry for you just having his surname. …”

Parents simply don’t understand.
