Ariana Grande Just Posted on Social Media for the First Time Since Her Split With Pete Davidson
Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson reportedly split up this weekend, with a source saying their five-month relationship and engagement became "too much, too soon." Neither of them have addressed the split directly, but Ariana did just take to social media for the first time since the news broke.
Ahead of her performance in the live performance of the musical Wicked, called A Very Wicked Halloween: Celebrating 15 Years on Broadway, the singer tweeted this picture of what looks like her script. Based on who sings this song in the actual musical, it looks she's playing the character of Elphaba.
honored to be included in this celebration of 15 years of my favorite musical of all time 💚 wouldn’t miss it for the whole universe #wicked15pic.twitter.com/oCC6ial3HX

In the tweet, she said that she "wouldn't miss it for the world," which could be a reference to Pete and their split. TBD. The special airs on October 29.
The exact reason they ended their engagement is unclear, but considering what's gone on in both their lives in the past few months (including the death of Ariana's ex Mac Miller), it seems natural that they'd want to slow things down. According to a source, “It’s not shocking to anyone.” TMZ said the couple isn't ruling out the possibility of anything in the future.
