Ariana Grande Is Giving Ethan Slater "Space" to Deal With Lilly Jay Drama

Quick Monday morning update on where things stand with Hollywood's most unexpected couple, Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater. According to TMZ, the pair haven't seen each other in person for "a while" and Ariana is giving Ethan "space to work things out" when it comes to drama with his ex Lilly Jay.

Turns out Ariana and Ethan haven't hung out in "several weeks," as Ethan's currently in New York (where he filed for divorce) and Ari is heading back to Los Angeles. How! Ev! Er! TMZ's sources say they are "100% still dating" and want to see each other—it's just not possible, like, right at this very moment.

Meanwhile, Lilly Jay is said to feel betrayed by Ethan, and a source recently told Us Weekly that “Ethan sat Lilly down a few days before the news broke about him and Ariana and said that he wanted a divorce. Lilly never saw it coming!" Another insider told the outlet that “Ariana and Ethan weren’t careful. They’d hold hands on set in between takes. They were sloppy and not hiding it.”

Lilly broke her silence last week on this whole...thing...telling Page Six that “[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl. My family is just collateral damage.”

Oh, AND a source told the Daily Mail that "Lilly hung out with Ethan and Ariana so many times. Ariana met their baby and even held him. They had dinners together in London—and Ariana told Lilly that she wanted to have a baby one day and that she couldn't wait to start a family."

So yeah, things remain messy af.
