Ariana Grande Gives Fans a Behind the Scenes Look at Her "Sweetener" Pop-Up

If you’re not in New York this weekend to visit Ariana Grande’s Sweetener pop-up, never fear; the singer/songwriter is giving fans a total BTS look at the unique experience on her social media — right now.

The exhibit, which launched Friday, September 28 in partnership with Spotify, features an array of rooms and sections, each dedicated to a different track from Ariana’s latest album. There’s plenty of Instagrammable details, like a swirling backdrop reminiscent of her “God Is a Woman” music video, and a comfy bed with dreamy lights — perfect for catching up on your “R.E.M.” sleep...or posing for a cute pic with your BFF. Fans who were lucky enough to RSVP to the event before it sold out also had the option of picking up Sweetener merch, which Ariana highlighted on her Instagram Story.

Ari herself stopped by the pop-up on Friday, where she painted a romantic padlock for Pete Davidson in the room named for her fiancé (who has his own song on her album). She also shared several photos of herself enjoying the exhibits: posing on the ceiling (well, sort of), making a phone call in the “Get Well Soon” room, and taking an artsy black-and-white boomerang while stars twinkle behind her.

In addition to posting her own pics, Ari has been sharing fans’ memories of the pop-up, including a glimpse at other sweet padlocks that visitors created, and notes that exhibit-goers wrote to the singer.

A quick scroll through the hashtag #SweetenerSpotify will also give a pretty good indication of what you might be missing if you're not physically at the pop-up. Cute little swingsets? Check. Neon purple lights and bean bag chairs? Check. A room full of raindrops? Check check check.

Ahead, check out some of the highlights — it’s almost as good as seeing it in person for yourself. Almost.
