Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater Are Spotted Out Together for the First Time

In case you had any doubts about the legitimacy of their romance, Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater just made their public debut as a couple.

The two were seen (and caught on video) out together for the first time at Disneyland on Friday night. Photos shared by Deuxmoi show the pair waiting for a ride, while a clip shows them walking arm in arm across the theme park with a guide.

The Wicked costars seemed to be trying to keep the outing under the radar, as they wore coordinating black sweats and baseball hats.

Grande and Slater’s public date came less than one week after the pop star filed for divorce from husband Dalton Gomez, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of the marriage. Gomez filed his own divorce petition at nearly the same time, per TMZ.

They were married for two years, and reportedly split in January, though the news first broke in July. Insiders have said the “Thank U, Next” singer and Gomez had been living separate lives since she temporarily moved to London to film Wicked—though their relationship issues started long before. While Grande has not addressed the breakup, she did remove a post from her Instagram about her and Gomez’s wedding.

Slater is also going through a breakup. He filed for divorce from wife Lilly Jay in July. The two married in 2018 and welcomed a baby son last August. “[Ariana’s] the story really. Not a girl’s girl,” Jay told Page Six after the filing. “My family is just collateral damage. The story is her and Dalton.”

Neither Grande nor Slater have publicly confirmed their relationship.
