Ariana Grande may have no tears left to cry, but she’s got plenty of SoCal homes left to buy. The latest addition to her real estate portfolio is a cottage in the Bird Streets neighborhood of Los Angeles’ Hollywood Hills, Dirt reports. Though the house itself is modestly sized, it sits on an impressive three-parcel, 0.74-acre hillside plot and could easily be torn down to make way for a much bigger and more glamorous home in line with Grande’s stylistic tendencies.

The “Positions” singer paid $8.9 million in an off-market deal for the property, which is blocked from the public eye by tall hedges and trees, but offers its residents stunning unobstructed views of the Sunset Strip and beyond. The current structure, built in 1946, sits at the end of a long driveway and offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms within its 1,590 square feet of living space. Off to the side of the cottage, set into the hillside and overlooking the city below, is a large swimming pool surrounded by a redbrick patio.

It’s likely only a matter of time before Grande and her real estate agent fiancé Dalton Gomez begin transforming the lot into their dream home. It’s anyone’s guess what that will look like, however, as evidenced by the vast differences between Grande’s other residences. Last summer, she ended her long string of L.A. rentals with the purchase of a $13.7 million new build in the Hollywood Hills designed in a minimalist, modern style by local firm iDGroup. Less than a month later, she snagged a historic Montecito estate from Ellen DeGeneres for $6.75 million; that Tudor-style home comprises two separate barns that were built in England in the 1700s and painstakingly reconstructed in the Santa Barbara County enclave.
