Ariana Grande Dropped a Surprise Live Album Called “k bye for now"
2019 has been a monumental year for Ariana Grande. A chart-topping album, massive world tour, multiple award nominations — there was truly no stopping the power of her iconic ponytail this year. But before she officially hits 2019 with a "thank u, next," Ariana unveiled one last surprise for her fans: a brand new album.
On Sunday (December 22), Ariana dropped a surprise live album called "k bye for now." The album features 32 songs from Ariana's tour (both off Sweetener and Thank U, Next). Additionally, it also features all of Ariana's OG hits that she performed while on the road including "Break Free," "Be Alright," "Side to Side," and "Into You." Once again, Ariana proved that she is the pop star that just keeps on giving.
"a little something to thank u for everything and to make saying goodbye to this chapter a lil easier. love u," Ariana tweeted. Fans were completely shook by the surprise drop, but so happy about it. One fan tweeted, "We’re so proud of you thank you so much for everything," while another said, "thank you so much for what youve done for us now go sleep for a thousand years."
Sunday night also marked the last stop on Ariana's tour, making it the perfect time to drop the album. On Instagram, many stars shared their love for Ari, her music and her tour. "So cool. congrats," said former Victorious co-star Daniella Monet. Hmmm interesting...now that Ari's world tour is done, maybe we can finally get that Victorious reunion we've been waiting for.
