Ariana Grande Brought Out *NSYNC at Coachella 2019 to Perform "Tearin' Up My Heart" and More

What a way to close out the first weekend.

The first weekend of Coachella 2019 is officially behind us, and it ended on a high note, thanks to Ariana Grande's performance, which rounded out the schedule on Sunday, April 14. Ever since it was announced that the "7 Rings" singer would be headlining this year's festival, fans were more than excited, knowing that Ariana would have something special in store for the crowd.

With a set that featured new bops like "Thank U, Next" and older jams, including "Dangerous Woman," Ariana's performance was the perfect combination of energizing and sentimental — and that's without mentioning the surprise guests that joined her.

After numerous social media hints, including a not-so-subtle tweet from JC Chasez, Ariana was joined by *NSYNC for a special performance of "Break Up With Your Girlfriend, I'm Bored" and "Tearin' Up My Heart." As CNN reported, Justin Timberlake was absent from the reunion because he was wrapping up his own tour.

The moment of '90s-fueled nostalgia had many on social media feeling all the feels, with one user questioning, "I really don’t understand why everyone is obsessing over #GoT when @NSYNC is rumored to be performing with @ArianaGrande at #coachella. WHERE ARE YOUR PRIORITIES?" Others crowned Ari the winner of Coachella, writing, "*NSYNC PERFORMING WITH ARIANA AT COACHELLA IS EVERYTHING I NEVER KNEW I NEEDED!"

Following the Coachella collab, members of *NSYNC shared their appreciation for the invitation, with Joey Fatone writing, "Thanks @arianagrande for having us ... was a great time and a chance to perform with my brothers once again." Lance Bass also shared a behind-the-scenes selfie, writing, "Well that was fun! 🙌🏼 Thank you @arianagrande for letting us play in the desert with you."

The guys of *NSYNC weren't the only surprise guests to join Ari on Sunday. Nicki Minaj made an appearance to deliver on a duet of their single "Bang Bang," and P. Diddy and Mase surprised fans by singing "Mo Money, Mo Problems" with Ari. Prior to beginning the track, Diddy and Mase noted that the performance was a tribute to Biggie Smalls, Mac Miller, 2Pac, and Nipsey Hussle.
