Arapahoe Basin Introducing Parking Reservation System For Next Season

Arapahoe Basin, CO, is joining the seemingly mass number of resorts now requiring parking reservations.

Officials at A-Basin announced that for the 2024/25 season, the resort will require general parking reservations for weekends and holidays from mid-December through early May.

Officials say this decision is actually a way to preserve the "A-Basin experience" as a next step after limiting lift tickets, which managed skiers and riders on the mountain.

"Parking has always been our pinch point for controlling busier days; we are doing this to ensure we offer the quality you expect from A-Basin."

The resort is still working to identify the best third-party vendor to help us create a reservation plan at this time, so although not all of the information is available, there are some known aspects of this new system.

Firstly, the reservation system will be effective from mid-December 2024 through early May 2025.

Reservations are only required on weekends and holidays.

A general parking reservation will cost $20/car for Early Riser, High Noon, Last Chance, and Upper Last Chance.

Just like other resorts such as Palisades Tahoe, parking will not require a reservation after 1 p.m. on weekends and holidays and will remain free during weekdays.

A-Basin will offer a limited number of $150 parking passes, covering general parking costs all season.

A-Basin also encourages carpooling. Vehicles with four or more people are still required to have a reservation, but the reservation is free. You will have to make your general parking reservation online in advance.
