Aquaglide was out in force at The Big Gear Show in Deer Valley, Utah, this month, debuting new offerings that will push the the brand into fresh categories for 2023. Of particular note was the unveiling of the Aquaglide Cirrus Ultralight 110 and 150, new inflatable models met with plenty of enthusiasm for their combination of low weight, stability, and tracking.

Out next year, the Cirrus Ultralight models are designed with the supreme weight savings and stowability of pack rafts, while also offering the speed and capability of traditional touring kayaks.

Weighing just 14 pounds 12 ounces (for the 110 model) and 18 pounds (for the 150), the Cirrus Ultralights feature a TPU-Nylon construction with a TPU drop-stitch floor to provide maximum stiffness with minimal weight, for a kayak that doesn't sacrifice an ounce of performance. The Cirrus is the perfect companion for the overlander, backcountry enthusiast, or any paddler who values unparalleled touring function in an ultralight package.

The Cirrus Ultralight 110 will retail for $1,300, with the 150 running to $1,700.

More New Gear for 2023

In addition to the Cirrus models, Aquaglide will enter the PFD market in 2023 with three new products.

The AG Paddle Vest ($85), approved by the U.S. Coast Guard and Transport Canada, will be available in three fully adjustable sizes for custom fit on a wide range of paddlers. Ideal for all recreation and performance-touring applications, the high-backed design allows paddlers to sit more comfortably in boats with taller seat backs.

The AG Fishing Vest ($90), available in two fully adjustable sizes, is intended for fishing of all kinds, on any type of water, with versatile pockets and angling-specific features aplenty.

Finally, the AG SUP Belt ($100), which comes in one universal size, is designed for all flatwater stand-up paddling applications. This low-profile belt pack is both lightweight and minimal--remaining virtually invisible until you need it.

Also incredibly important to inflatable watercraft performance--though often overlooked--are fins. In 2023, Aquaglide will release brand-new, highly functional Press-Fit Fins ($35) designed with Glass Flex Construction, making them lightweight, rigid, and durable. The Press-Fit attachment uses friction for a secure, tool-free attachment to any U.S. fin box.

The entire line of new goods will be available in January 2023. To learn more about Aquaglide, visit aquaglide.com. Complete this form for new dealer inquiries, or contact Casey Rolig for media inquiries.

About Aquaglide

In 2004, a small team of adventurers wanted more out of inflatable watercraft--and knew they could create better gear than what was already on the market. So they began a new company, one rooted in the Pacific Northwest, dedicated to making the highest quality inflatable products customers can buy. Now located in Bend, Oregon, the company’s constant access to water--from pristine alpine lakes to long stretches of river and, close by, the Pacific Ocean--is fundamental to product research, development, and (of course) the team’s health and happiness.

Aquaglide offers best-in-class inflatable products available in over 70 countries, including kayaks, SUPs, commercial aqua park goods, and an array of paddlesports accessories. The brand is on a mission to utilize innovative design and patented technology to create the best watersports gear in the world, all while providing unparalleled customer service, support, and retail distribution.
