For the bulk of April, you'll be out and about, Gemini. This month will be all about putting yourself out there, accomplishing your goals, and making new connections. During the first weekend of the month, there is an Aries new moon on Friday, April 5, which inspires you to make new friends. Socializing is important, and the connections you make during this new moon are empowering and refreshing.

This month, new advancements in your relationships since expansive Jupiter entered your house of partnerships last November may start to slow down as it starts its retrograde on Wednesday, April 10 (ending on August 11). Jupiter is a philosopher, and in Sagittarius, it sees the big picture. While this planet is moving backward, you will be rethinking the direction of your relationships, and you'll want to make sure everything is OK before taking any great leaps forward.

Your planetary ruler, Mercury, was retrograde last month, which stirred up confusion and more than a few job fumbles. You will be cleaning up the aftermath until Mercury clears its shadow on Tuesday, April 16, giving you another chance to fix retrograde-induced technical difficulties.

When Mercury enters Aries on April 17, you'll suddenly become the life of the party.

Then, just one day after clearing its retrograde shadow, your chatty planetary ruler, Mercury, enters Aries on Wednesday, April 17, making you the life of the party. You've spent a really long time working out kinks at work, and this Mercury retrograde was not easy, so cheers to you for surviving. Mercury in Aries kicks off a hugely refreshing spring-break moment for you.

During the second half of April, you'll finally have time to give your social life the attention it deserves. The full moon in Libra on Friday, April 19 highlights your house of fun and creativity. Your dates, your closest friends, your creative pursuits, the people who make you happy — they will all be getting your affection and care that weekend. Surround yourself with people who ignite your creative passions.

But once the sun enters Taurus on Saturday, April 20 (the day after the full moon in Libra), your social life will begin to wear on you and you'll become more prone to staying in the comfort of your bed to catch up on rest. Also on April 20, Venus enters Aries, and you may find your social life becoming more digital. You'll favor posting cute selfies and throwbacks in place of putting in the energy to getting all dolled up to go out.

The planet of darkness and transformation, Pluto, starts its yearly half-year retrograde on Wednesday, April 24 (which will end on October 3). This will be a fairly subtle effect, but while this outer planet is out of service, you'll be able to review the changes that you have been going through since 2011, the year that Pluto entered your house of rebirth.

The third planet to go retrograde this month is Saturn, the planet of time, which starts its regularly programmed retrograde on Monday, April 29 (which ends on September 18). Saturn keeps the score and plays by the rules, and with this stabilizing planet on the bench, the rules become a bit more flexible. Past lessons you’ve learned, the past lives you’ve left behind, the skin you have shed — these things will all come back around to let you know you’ve made the right choices. This can be rewarding. Time is a flat circle.

Whether you’re out and about being social at the beginning of the month or while you're taking selfies to post, later on, lashes add a little something extra to your look. Something simple like Huda Beauty’s Classic False Lashes are basically a "level-up" for your lids.
