Applebee’s Has Two Huge Spring Margaritas That Are Worth Every Penny of the $5
Applebee’s knows a thing or two about serving up giant festive cocktails. Just as the St. Patrick’s Day ones have found their way out, the chain has already brought two new ones in. If you ask us, the best way to welcome the warm weather is by sipping on fruity cocktails and pretending that we’re on an island.
The new Mucho Cocktails are the Strawberry Daq-A-Rita and Tipsy Shark and, honestly, the descriptions have us thinking that you can’t go wrong with either. The first is a half margarita, half daiquiri that’s made with 1800 Reposado Tequila, Bacardi, strawberry, and margarita mix. It’s like having two drinks in one! The Pacific-inspired cocktail is a fun margarita that combines 1800 Reposado Tequila, blue curacao, pineapple juice, and margarita mix. To top it all off, it’s complete with a gummy shark that will be “swimming” around your bright blue beverage.
The Springtime Sips, as they’re called, are served in Applebee’s Mucho glasses, so you know you’ll be getting quite a large drink. Better yet, each one is only $5 — no, this isn’t just a happy-hour special — so go ahead, try the second one, too.
“If you want to have your cake and drink it too, our new Strawberry Daq-A-Rita is just for you. This is your chance to enjoy a daiquiri and a margarita blended together in one big Mucho glass,” Patrick Kirk, vice president of beverage innovation at Applebee’s, said in a press release. “or, if you’d prefer your drink on the rocks with a side of gummy shark, be sure to try the Tipsy Shark — our new ocean-blue margarita made with top-notch tequila.”
Certain Applebee’s locations allow for customers to order the drinks to go, so you can enjoy these margaritas when your heart desires.
