Applebee’s Has $5 St. Patrick’s Day Cocktails That Just Might Be the Gold at the End of the Rainbow
We all know that the Irish love a good drink, but St. Patrick’s Day just gives us all an excuse to indulge like our friends in Ireland. That sip is about to be better, because Applebee’s has giant cocktails that are perfectly themed for a month full of green. The timing couldn’t be better for the Saintly Sips, because Applebee’s Snowy Sips just left restaurants.
There are two St. Patrick’s Day-themed boozy beverages to choose from. The Tipsy Leprechaun is a take on a Long Island Iced Tea, as it’s made with Jameson Irish Whiskey, melon liqueur, blue curacao, sweet & sour, and lemon lime soda. For a more tropical drink, the Pot O’ Gold Colada is a frozen piña colada that’s made with Captain Morgan and mango. We’re pretty sure that this is what you’d find at the end of the rainbow.
If you’ve been on Applebee’s themed-drinks train, you’re probably familiar with the Mucho glass that holds 18 ounces. It’s almost crazy to think that the Tipsy Leprechaun and Pot O’ Gold Colada are just $5 each when they come in a such a large glass, but we’re not going to question this deal.
You can order these fun drinks from now through March 29. If you’re lucky enough to live in an area that allows alcohol to go, Applebee’s will let you take these out of the restaurant. Sounds like the ultimate St. Patrick’s Day celebration to us!
