If you're on the lookout for a trippy psychological thriller that takes you on a wild journey through space and time, then you've come to the right place.

In just a few days (February 21, to be exact), Apple TV+ will premiere its brand-new series, Constellation, featuring Prometheus star Noomi Rapace and Better Call Saul’s Jonathan Banks. Rapace stars as Jo, a NASA astronaut who miraculously makes it back to Earth after surviving a deadly incident in outer space. (Sound familiar?) Upon her return, however, she discovers that pieces of her life are missing, and strange occurrences cause her to question whether she landed in a different world.

As seen in the riveting two-minute trailer, Jo is stunned to find a piano in her home, despite never having played the instrument. And when she finally confronts her daughter about the sudden shift in their dynamic, the young girl says, "I just don't feel like you're my mum."

Peter Harness, who wrote and created the eight-part series, told Inverse that he wanted to shed light on the emotional toll that space travel can have on astronauts. He said, “We were very keen to make it authentic. The I.S.S., the reality of what it's like up there to be an astronaut with this kind of interagency politics, and the toll that being an astronaut can have on you. We were very keen to nail those things as precisely as possible. If it's completely grounded and believable, and your characters are believable, then you earn the permission to do something a bit weird on top of that.”

Breaking Bad's Michelle MacLaren, who executive produced the show, also opened up about working on the series. She told Zee News, "It's thrilling for me since it was way outside of my comfort zone. I love to be challenged. I had never done Zero Gravity before, and the thing about doing something that is a grounded, character-driven action thriller, that has a sci-fi element to it, so you get to stretch reality a little bit further than we normally do. It was thrilling and exciting to play with multiple realities."

In addition to Rapace and Banks, Constellation stars James D'Arcy, Julian Looman, Lenn Kudrjawizki and Barbara Sukowa. The first three episodes will premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, February 21, with subsequent episodes airing weekly through March 27.
