Apple TV+: The Best TV Shows and Movies to Watch on Apple’s New Streaming Platform

Apple's highly anticipated foray into streaming content, Apple TV+, launches today with a slew of exciting TV shows and movies. You've heard of a few of them, I'm sure: There's The Morning Show, starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon; See, featuring Jason Momoa; and even some children's shows if you have little ones running around the house. With such a robust lineup, it might be hard to decide what to watch if you do decide to invest in Apple TV+.

The Morning Show Jennifer Aniston stars alongside Reese Witherspoon and Steve Carell in this compelling new drama about the inner workings of a morning news show set in the wake of a male anchor's #MeToo scandal.

See Starring Jason Momoa and Alfre Woodard, this sci-fi epic is set 600 years in the future, when a virus has destroyed mankind and made the remaining humans completely blind. Just as the remaining population has adjusted to this, though, newborns start entering the world with full vision.

Dickinson This coming-of-age comedy-drama stars Hailee Steinfeld as a young Emily Dickinson, who attempts to find her voice and hone her craft in a world that expects women to just become housewives.

For All Mankind Imagine a world where the United States never put someone on the moon, and the space race is still ongoing. Well, that's the central conflict in this new drama from Ronald D. Moore, who helmed the Outlander TV series.

Helpsters From the makers of Sesame Street comes a new children's series in which puppet-like monsters help their viewers solve problems.

Snoopy in Space Snoopy attempts to become an astronaut in this animated delight, which comes from Peanuts Worldwide and DHX Media.

Truth to Be Told Octavia Spencer stars as a true-crime podcast host who begins to question whether the articles she wrote about a murder led to an innocent man being put behind bars. Available December 6

The Banker Based on true events, this movie stars Samuel L. Jackson, Anthony Mackie, and Nicholas Hoult and centers on two African American entrepreneurs in the 1950s who circumnavigate the racial biases against them by having a white man pose as the head of their business. Available January 31, 2020

Central Park A new animated series about a group of caretakers in Central Park. Vocal work from Josh Gad, Leslie Odom Jr., Tituss Burgess, and Kristen Bell, among others. Available soon

Hala A Muslim teenager (Geraldine Viswanathan) is already having trouble juggling her family's expectations and just being a regular teenager. But her problems become tenfold when she uncovers a big secret that threatens to destroy the lives of those she loves most. Available soon
