Apple Fans Frustrated by Bungled iPhone 15 Pre-Order Rollout Roast Company on Social Media

Apple fans logged on this morning to finally pre-order the long-awaited iPhone 15, only to find the Apple Store had completely broken ahead of the release. Once they were finally able to get in, many users were confronted with error messages and long wait times as they tried to upgrade to the latest model.

It was an unexpected blunder for the company, which is used to dealing with high-demand rollouts for its signature products. One tech insider even called it the "most problematic iPhone preorder that I've encountered in the last 10+ years," although there have been some other rollout hiccups in the past.

Naturally, the internet was less than understanding as they waited to get their hands on the latest gadget. The company quickly became the target of online ridicule, with many joking about the process and questioning the strength of the company's servers:

Some even called on Tim Cook to personally intervene, sharing hilarious clips of how he might right the ship:

Things seemed to be getting themselves in order after a few hours, with many Apple fans sharing their success in finally being able to check out.

They won't have to wait too long. The iPhone 15 and 15 Pro are set to officially release next Friday, September 22 both online and in-stores, although reports indicate that some online orders are already pushing into November.

The phones will come with upgraded chips, cameras, and more compared to their model predecessors, as well as new features like a redesigned Dynamic Island notch on the 15 model and the programmable action button on the Pro model. Not to mention the death of Apple's lightning adapter in favor of USB-C connection.

The iPhone 15 will retail at $799, with the 15 Plus starting at $899.

The iPhone 15 Pro retails for $999, and the iPhone Pro Max starts at $1,199.
